Dual credit English teacher Ms.Kenley has taken some time off due to her pregnancy. Students say she will be back in December due to her leaving for maternity leave. Taking her place is a long term sub Ms.frastro.
Usually when students hear the word Substitute they automatically think they could get away with anything and not do word since the teacher is not there. Ms.frostro has shown students what it is really like being in college. With this long-term substitute students make sure to turn in their work when it is due.
Students have said ever since Ms.Frasto started their grades have gone down. Students complain saying Ms. Frotro does not grade fairly and their will also be times where she does not grade all the papers and will give all students the same low grade.
After the first nine weeks Ms. Frostro had taken another position and another high school. The students are now with different substitutes each day. Students now claim that ever since Ms. Frost left their grade has gone back up.
Substitute teachers should not have access to the students grades. Instead they should collect the work and forward it to the teacher. Substitute teachers main purpose is to watch over the students while the teacher is not present but not to grade their paper work.
